4-1-11

First of all, let me say that I am extremely happy to announce the beginning of April. (Not only does this mean increasing temperatures but also means that it is time once again for the spring musical at my high school.) Now, on that note of shows, let me drift topics to another show: that is, Charlie Sheen's tour. His new show essential consists of the extremely unpopular actor standing on stage an griping about how he's right and the rest of the world is wrong. (The show's title is "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is not an Option Tour," if that tells you anything.) This week his show opened in Detroit to heckling and members of the audience leaving the theatre when Mr. Sheen came on stage. However, this was followed by him continuing his tour in Chicago to warm audiences and receiving standing ovations. (Of course, leave it to us Illinoisans to welcome the single most corrupt member of Hollywood society... that wouldn't sound like anything we'd do here in the Prairie State.) Therefore, whether his tour is a success or not is yet be seen. However, one must sensibly highly doubt his acceptance into mainstream popularity ever again.
